Karon is a professional Hair & Makeup Designer and Supervisor with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years.

Having started out as a hairdresser and running her own salon, Karon has continued to build a strong career specialising in Theater and TV. After starting out on shows such as The Bill and Hollyoaks, Karon transitioned and progressed to working on the Terry Pratchett films and later on to period dramas such as Call The Midwife. With a passion for period genre, Karon’s vast knowledge and understanding of history helps to create a vision that is a true reflection of the time.

With strong technical skills in a wide range of hair and makeup techniques, including styling, cutting, colouring and barbering, wig dressing, postiche, period character makeup, casualties and sfx. Karon now designs for the continuing BBC serial drama Eastenders.
